The 9 Best Hair Transplant and Aesthetic Clinics in Tbilisi

Updated 26 firms evaluated9 listedServing all of Georgia

Georgia has become a cheaper alternative to Turkey for hair restoration, and almost all of it happens in Tbilisi. We looked at 26 hair transplant and aesthetic clinics operating in Georgia and kept the nine that publish something checkable: named surgeons, society memberships, per-graft rates or a written package inclusion list. This page is not medical advice and makes no claim about outcomes. It compares what clinics publish, nothing more. How we rank

What it costs in Georgia

Georgian clinics price two ways, and the difference matters more than the headline number. Per-graft rates on published lists run about $1 for FUT, $2 for FUE and DHI, and up to $3 for long hair FUE. Fixed packages start around 2,200 euros for up to 4,000 grafts. A 2,500 graft case therefore lands anywhere between roughly 2,200 euros and $5,000 depending purely on which model the clinic uses.

Non-surgical work is priced separately and more transparently. PRP sessions publish around $100, mesotherapy around $70, tricopigmentation around $2,000 and eyebrow transplants around $1,500. Surgical aesthetics at the hospital-attached clinics costs considerably more and is almost never listed publicly.

Compare the total, not the graft rate. A clinic charging $2 a graft with three hotel nights and transfers included can come out cheaper than a $1.20 clinic once you have booked your own hotel.

How to choose

Get the surgeon's name before you pay

Ask who operates, in writing. Then check that name against the ISHRS directory. Clinics that publish surgeon names and society memberships make this a two-minute job. Clinics that talk only about "our experienced team" make it impossible, and that is information in itself.

Ask what the graft count is based on

Graft count drives price. A count agreed from photos before you fly is provisional. Ask what happens if the surgeon revises it on the day, and whether a fixed package price moves with it or absorbs it.

Check the inclusion list line by line

Nights, transfers, blood tests, the medication pack, the first wash, the follow-up. These vary between clinics that all describe themselves as all-inclusive.

Red flags

  • A firm price quoted before anyone has looked at your donor area.
  • No named surgeon, only a clinic name and a coordinator on WhatsApp.
  • Guaranteed graft survival percentages. Nobody can promise those.
  • Before and after galleries with no timeframe attached to the after photo.
  • Pressure to pay in full to hold a date.
  • Refusal to say who does extraction and who does implantation. Technician-led work is standard practice, but you are entitled to know.

When you do and do not need to pay for this

Hair loss is not always treated surgically, and a transplant is not appropriate for everyone. If you have not had a diagnosis yet, a dermatology or trichology consultation costs a fraction of a procedure and is the sensible first spend. Several clinics on this list, DeaMed among them, run that consultation without requiring you to book surgery afterwards.

Combining trips is where Georgia genuinely saves money. If you are already coming for dental work or a check-up, adding non-surgical aesthetics to the same visit costs nothing extra in flights.

Do not pay for a package you cannot use. If you already live in Tbilisi, the hotel-and-transfer bundle is dead weight. Ask for the procedure-only price; several clinics quote both once asked.

Nothing on this page is medical advice. Talk to a doctor who has examined you before committing to any of it.

Frequently asked

Using the rates these clinics publish themselves, per-graft pricing sits roughly between $1 and $3 depending on technique, with FUT at the bottom and long hair FUE at the top. A 2,500 graft FUE case at $2 a graft works out near $5,000, while the fixed packages start closer to 2,200 euros for up to 4,000 grafts. Non-surgical items are priced separately, with PRP around $100 a session and eyebrow work around $1,500. Treat all of these as published list prices rather than quotes, because clinics reprice after examining the donor area and seasonal discounts are common.
