The 9 Best SEO Agencies in Tbilisi

Updated 26 firms evaluated9 listedServing all of Georgia

Most Tbilisi agencies sell SEO as one line on a services page next to social media and Google Ads. A smaller group does nothing else. We looked at 26 agencies and consultants, checked each against its own site, published scope and stated client work, and kept the nine that show search as a real practice. Firms we could not verify beyond a directory listing were dropped. All nine take clients across Georgia and run most of the work remotely, so a business registered in Batumi or Kutaisi can hire from this list too. How we rank

Rank 01

Alpaca

Best overall

Specialist search agency in Saburtalo, running since 2019.

Updated
Why they’re on this list
  • Founded in 2019 and positioned as a specialist search agency rather than a full-service marketing shop, which is unusual in this market
  • Team page lists roughly 16 people by role, including eight SEO specialists, three SEO copywriters and a separate AI team lead
  • Scope is broken out service by service, covering technical audit, keyword research, content optimisation, competitor analysis, local SEO and off-page link work
  • Clutch profile shows 5.0 out of 5 from 7 reviews, with the agency listed at 11 to 49 staff
  • States that pricing is set per client, from limited budgets up to premium packages, and that no long-term contract is required
Rank 02

10xSEO

Best for documented results

Search agency that publishes a starting price and names its clients.

4.818 reviewsUpdated
Why they’re on this list
  • Publishes a starting figure of $695 a month rather than quoting only on request, with scope adjusting the number from there
  • Names live clients on the site, among them Pharmadepo, myhome.ge, avia.ge and Todua Clinic, each with a stated growth figure attached
  • Treats AI search visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity as its own service line alongside classic technical and on-page work
  • Runs Google Ads and SEO copywriting in house, so paid and organic can be briefed to the same team
Rank 03

Portali

Best for published pricing

One of the few Tbilisi agencies with GEL rates on the page.

Updated
Why they’re on this list
  • Prices competitive sectors separately from about 2,000 GEL a month, so the quote is banded by difficulty rather than fixed
  • Portfolio lists 30 or more projects including Qarvasla Hotel, Mythdetector, Tripzy, UCMAS and SmartUp Education
  • Clutch profile shows 4.9 out of 5 from 11 reviews and an hourly band of $25 to $49
  • Founded in 2021, site published in Georgian and English, office on Arkanjelo Lamberti Street
Rank 04

H1 Studio

Technical SEO and AI search, with structured data as a core service.

Updated
  • Service list is unusually technical for this market, covering site architecture, schema markup, entity SEO and E-E-A-T signals rather than generic optimisation
  • LLM and AI search optimisation is sold as a core service, not bolted on to a standard package
  • States 92% client retention, an average of 392% organic growth within 12 months, and a response time under 24 hours
  • Site runs in English and Georgian, with pricing quoted per package rather than published
Rank 05

HIDO

Multilingual search work inside a broader Tbilisi tech agency.

Updated
  • Lists client-facing work in Georgian, English, Turkish, Russian and Arabic, which is rare for a Tbilisi agency
  • Runs a dedicated Tbilisi SEO page separate from its general services, focused on multilingual optimisation and local search behaviour
  • SEO sits next to web development, cloud and cybersecurity, so a rebuild and the search work can come from one team
  • Publishes a phone line plus a WhatsApp contact and states a response window under 24 hours
  • Does not publish rates, saying cost varies with project complexity

What SEO costs in Tbilisi

The agencies that publish rates give a usable range. Portali lists roughly 800 to 1,200 GEL for an initial audit and strategy, then 1,500 to 2,500 GEL a month for a standard retainer and more in competitive sectors. 10xSEO starts at $695 a month. Everyone else quotes after a call, and as a rough guide the market sits between 1,200 and 3,500 GEL a month for a small to mid-sized site, with an audit-only engagement around 700 to 1,500 GEL as a one-off.

Add 18% VAT to any invoice from a VAT-registered Georgian agency. Link building and translated content are usually billed on top of the retainer rather than inside it. When a quote comes in unusually low, the difference is almost always content volume.

How to choose

Start from where your customers actually search. A Tbilisi restaurant, a dental clinic and a SaaS company selling into the US need three different agencies. Local search in Georgian runs on Google Business Profile, map results and Georgian-language pages. International SEO runs on site architecture, English content at volume and links from outside Georgia. Very few Tbilisi shops do both well, and the ones that claim to should be asked for examples of each.

Three questions for the first call

  • Who writes the content, and in which language. Content is most of the cost and most of the result. If it is outsourced, ask to see a published sample in your language.
  • What you keep if you leave. Search Console, Analytics and every page on your domain should sit under your own account from day one.
  • What the reporting contains. Rankings alone are not a report. Ask for organic sessions, non-brand queries and conversions.

Red flags

  • Guaranteed positions. Nobody controls Google's index, and a guarantee usually turns out to mean ranking for your own brand name.
  • A proposal that is all technical audit and never mentions content or links. The audit is the cheap part.
  • Backlink packages priced per link with no named domains. Ask which sites, then go and look at them.
  • Reluctance to give you owner-level access to Search Console and Analytics.
  • Reports built from rank-tracker screenshots with no traffic or revenue attached.
  • A pitch that leans on AI search buzzwords without being able to explain what they changed on the page to get cited.

When you do not need to pay for this

If your business runs on referrals, expat Facebook groups or a physical location with steady walk-ins, search is probably not where your next customer comes from. The same applies if your site is under ten pages and you have no plan to add more. Fill in the Google Business Profile properly, get the address and opening hours right, collect reviews, and stop there.

Paying makes sense when there is real search volume for what you sell in a language you can serve, and when you can commit for six to twelve months. Below that horizon you are buying setup work and walking away before it compounds. The cheapest useful thing to buy first is a one-off technical audit. It tells you whether the site is capable of ranking at all, and you can act on it yourself or hand it to whoever built the site.

If you are still putting the entity behind all this in place, see our guides on registering a company in Georgia and VAT registration in Georgia.

Frequently asked

Using the rates these agencies publish, an initial audit and strategy runs roughly 700 to 1,500 GEL as a one-off, and a monthly retainer for a small to mid-sized site sits roughly between 1,200 and 3,500 GEL. Portali lists 800 to 1,200 GEL for the audit and 1,500 to 2,500 GEL a month for standard work. 10xSEO starts at $695 a month. Most others quote only after a call, so treat these as bands rather than promises. Add 18% VAT to any invoice from a VAT-registered Georgian agency, and expect link building and translated content to be billed on top of the retainer.
